LA 1 over Caddo Lake

The LA 1 over Caddo Lake project involved replacing the 85-year-old Caddo Lake Bridge, which measured 956 feet in length. In addition to the new bridge, 1,750 feet of roadway were replaced, bringing the total length of the project to 3,800 feet.

The construction included the installation of 23 piers, which were founded on 30-inch square concrete pilings, varying in length from 66 feet to 84 feet. The scope of work encompassed concrete girder erection, cast-in-place concrete work, earthwork, and asphalt paving.
