The 120,000-square-foot Alico Arena facility includes a three-court multipurpose gymnasium with performance court, seating for 4,500, six suites and team locker facilities. The project includes a 7,600-square-foot fitness center with cardiovascular and strength areas, a 1,600-square-foot space with dividable aerobics and combative rooms, an auxiliary gymnasium, a training room, and a jogging track/performance concourse, faculty offices, an administrative center and conference rooms.
The project is located on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and is the home of the FGCU Eagles volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball teams. The arena holds more than 4,600 people in basketball configuration.
The Alico Arena also features four practice courts, six suites, twelve locker rooms, and offices for the FGCU Athletics Department.
