Hospital Metropolitano is the first new hospital built in Nicaragua in 40 years. The project consisted of a three-story, 98,587-square-foot Medical Center Hospital, a three-story, 29,062-square-foot Professional Office Building and an 8,826 square foot independent one-story Burn Center. The medical center has full diagnostic and treatment services including Emergency, Surgery, Obstetrics, Endoscopies, Physical Medicine and non-invasive cardiology. The Professional Office Building houses hospital and admitting functions, educational and meeting spaces, and has medical offices for 40 physicians.
