Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral project includes the construction of a two-story, 25,000-square-foot facility which provides lodging for families with children receiving cancer treatment. The facility includes 16 guest rooms, a community dining area, a game room, a movie theater, a business center, a cancer treatment education center, and an outdoor play area. Unique healthcare construction features include the Neutropenic Wing specially designed for children with weakened immune systems, the movie theater which doubles as a safe room during hazardous weather, and a gourmet kitchen for visitors to cook and socialize. The facility was designed with a welcoming lodge atmosphere and a symbolic Stream of Hope feature.
