ATLANTA, GEORGIA — On Monday, September 15, 2025, Manhattan Construction Company, JV partner RFB Contractors, and Fitzgerald Collaborative Group LLC joined Mayor Andre Dickens, City of Atlanta officials and community members to celebrate the groundbreaking of Fire Station 25 at 2349 Benjamin E Mays Dr SW. The ceremony marked the start of construction on a 12,515-square-foot, LEED-certified facility that will provide Atlanta firefighters with modern resources to better serve residents.

 Building for Atlanta’s Future

The new fire station represents an $11.2 million investment by the City of Atlanta in public safety and community infrastructure. Situated on a .84-acre lot, the facility will provide state-of-the-art resources for Atlanta’s firefighters—including updated bays for emergency vehicles, improved equipment storage and modern common spaces—designed to support their mission and strengthen public safety for the community.

Strengthening Community Partnerships

This is the second fire station Manhattan has built for the City of Atlanta, reflecting the company’s growing partnership with city leaders and its commitment to improving public infrastructure. The project is being delivered in joint venture with RFB Contractors, a minority-owned business.

Looking Ahead

Construction is expected to conclude in July 2026, following phased development. When complete, the station will stand as a testament to the City of Atlanta’s commitment to its firefighters and to Manhattan’s mission of building projects that strengthen communities.
