Jason Schafer Selected as an Oklahoma Magazine 2019 “40 Under 40” Honoree.
TULSA – We are pleased to announce that Manhattan Construction Company Senior Superintendent Jason Schafer has been selected as an Oklahoma Magazine 2019 “40 Under 40” honoree. Each year, Oklahoma Magazine chooses 40 individuals who represent the best the state has to offer in all fields of business, with the common goal of putting Oklahoma on the map as a state of the future.
In his 13 years at Manhattan, Jason has been instrumental in building several high profile projects that have helped define Tulsa’s entertainment and healthcare landscape. His recent projects include the highly complex River Spirit Casino Margaritaville Phase II expansion, the Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis, and premier Tulsa attractions BOK Center and ONEOK Field.
Jason has earned a reputation as a calm and levelheaded leader that empowers others around him. His leadership style revolves around a commitment to help mentor and develop the next generation of builders. Jason continually aims to build relationships with his colleagues and clients – not just on a professional level but on a personal level as well.
Outside of the jobsite, Jason is active in several organizations that have a personal significance to his family, such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities and Mended Little Hearts of Tulsa.
“Jason is a tremendous individual and a motivating leader,” said Ryan Haynie, Manhattan Construction Company Vice President. “We are excited that he has been honored with this recognition.”
