Manhattan Construction Celebrates Two Million Safe Work Hours

Manhattan Construction Co., one of the country’s largest commercial construction firms, has announced it has reached a major safety milestone delivering over two million work hours without a single lost workday.
  
“Very few companies in our industry experience a safety milestone of this magnitude,” said Manhattan President Leonard Rejcek. ”This major accomplishment is the direct result of all of our employees fully embracing and implementing Manhattan’s national award-winning safety program.”

Safety is an integral part of the Manhattan culture and these safety results prove it, said Rejcek. I commend all Manhattan employees for their efforts in making this achievement possible.

“This milestone is especially noteworthy considering the compressed construction schedules and highly complex projects our teams have delivered successfully during this period,” he said. ”Manhattan’s safety success not only makes for a safe work environment but also helps to lower operating costs, which in turn allow us to deliver better value for our clients.”

The company plans to celebrate this milestone at internal meetings during the month of November.
