Manhattan Construction Company announces Atlanta region appointments: Todd Armistead as operations manager, Wendy Cunningham as Director of Business Development
Atlanta, Georgia —Manhattan Construction Company, a leading national construction services firm, announced today the appointment of Todd Armistead as operations manager and Wendy Cunningham as director of business development to support a growing presence in the Southeast.
As operations manager, Armistead will oversee the company’s Atlanta-area operations to ensure quality, safety, and service excellence for Manhattan’s clients and team members. He will advise on complex construction issues and cultivate a rewarding environment for employees to reach their full potential.

Armistead has 26 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in project leadership and safety programs. His portfolio includes projects in healthcare, science and technology, mission-critical facilities, government buildings, higher education, corporate offices, sports, and entertainment sectors. He is a LEED® Accredited Professional and ASHE Healthcare Certified and holds a master’s degree in building construction and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Auburn University.
As director of business development for Manhattan’s Atlanta region, Cunningham will oversee new business acquisition and strategic account management. With over a decade of experience in marketing and client engagement in the specialty construction industry, Cunningham will collaborate closely with Manhattan’s regional leadership to establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, teaming partners, and the community.
“Wendy has extensive experience in marketing and business development in the construction industry with a proven track record of growing and maintaining client relationships,” said McFadden. “Furthermore, her involvement in community outreach, especially helping youth develop interest in construction careers, will benefit Manhattan and the construction industry.”
She serves on the boards of The FUN Club (Friends U Need) in Buford, Georgia and ACE Mentoring and is a member of several organizations, including ABC Georgia, Gwinnett Chamber Chairman’s Club, and Hall County Public Schools Work Based Advisory Group.
