Manhattan Construction Company names James L. Colvin, III as general counsel

Colvin, III as general counsel. Colvin comes to the company from Latham, Keele, Lehman, Ratcliff, Carter & Clarke, where he served as trial counsel and assisted clients with corporate matters across a range of industries, including finance, construction, energy, manufacturing, and network marketing.

With more than 18 years of legal experience, Colvin brings a wealth of knowledge to the position and has a broad range of expertise when it comes to corporate governance and contract law.

Commenting on the appointment, Manhattan Construction Company President John Reyhan said, “James’s extensive legal experience is ideal for supporting the diverse needs of our growing company.” Reyhan went on to say that Colvin will be focused on providing support to regional project teams with contract and risk management guidance.

In addition to his experience, Colvin is also “AV” rated with Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating awarded to attorneys for professional competence and ethics. He has also been recognized as a “Rising Star” in Super Lawyer magazine.

Colvin received his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2004 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in 2002. He is a founding member and President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the University of Georgia Alumni Association and a member of the Oklahoma, Utah, and Tulsa County Bar Associations.
