Manhattan Construction Company Promotes Ronnie Wood to Account Director

TULSA, OKLAHOMA — Manhattan Construction Company announced today the promotion of Ronnie Wood as account director, recognizing his leadership in delivering highly technical mission‑critical and data center construction projects. As account director, Ronnie guides Manhattan’s clients throughout all phases of the construction process, including planning, preconstruction, construction, and ongoing client engagement.

He is recognized for integrating Manhattan’s teams, processes, and trade partners to ensure seamless execution for data center clients operating in zero-tolerance environments.

Throughout his career, Wood has led teams through dozens of data center upgrades, repairs, and renovations, including installation of chillers and cooling towers, advanced liquid cooling distribution systems, hyperscale power reconfigurations, wastewater treatment upgrades, large-strand count OSP fiber installation, and live-cable repairs maintaining zero outages on lines carrying 550+ TB of traffic; these projects are a testament to his precision and attention to detail.

Wood’s leadership extends beyond data centers. During his tenure with Manhattan Construction Company, he has contributed to more than $600 million in construction projects throughout eastern Oklahoma. His portfolio includes the Downstream Phase II Expansion in Quapaw, Oklahoma, as well as multiple landmark projects for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, including the Choctaw Casino Resort, Tribal Headquarters, Judicial Center, and Cultural Center in Durant.

Wood holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University and is passionate about building projects that strengthen communities while fostering lasting relationships throughout the region.
