Manhattan Construction Company wins two ABC of Oklahoma “Excellence in Construction” awards and national safety honor
TULSA, OKLAHOMA – The Associated Builders & Contractors of Oklahoma (ABC) has honored Manhattan Construction Company with two “Excellence in Construction” (EIC) awards and the ABC Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Diamond Award. This is Manhattan’s 25th consecutive year to be recognized by ABC’s STEP Awards program, a world-class safety management system that measures safety processes and policies.
The “Excellence in Construction” awards recognize outstanding projects built by members of the association.
Manhattan Construction Company won “Excellence in Construction” awards for the construction of the:
Muskogee Public Schools | High School Football Stadium & Field House in Muskogee, Oklahoma, in the “Institutional, $25 to $100 million” category.
Built by Manhattan Construction Company, designed GH2 Architects, and engineered by 360 Engineering Group, PLLC, the Muskogee Public Schools High School Football Stadium and Field House is an expansive and transformative initiative known as “Rougher Village.” The Muskogee Public Schools High School Football Stadium and Field House is the centerpiece of Muskogee Schools’ athletics program and includes a new 83,000-square-foot multi-sport Field House and a new High School Football Stadium that can seat up to 7,000 fans.
Santa Fe Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the “Commercial, $25 – $100 million” category.
Santa Fe Square is the first phase of a large mixed-use development in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 12-story high-rise structure includes 134,978 square feet of Class A office space on the upper six levels and 309,418 square feet of parking garage space on the lower six levels. Built by Manhattan Construction Company, designed by Narrate Design (formerly Selser Schaefer Architects), and engineered by Click Engineering, it brings a modern Class A office environment and additional parking to a thriving part of Tulsa.
The awards were presented at the 2023 ABC Construction Awards Banquet held Thursday, November 2, at the Osage Casino Hotel Skyline Event Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
