Trista Shomo named Oklahoma Magazine 40 Under 40 honoree
OKLAHOMA CITY – We are pleased to announce that Manhattan Construction Company Senior Safety Manager Trista Shomo has been recognized among Oklahoma Magazine’s 2020 Class of 40 Under 40.
Shomo, along with 39 others, were awarded for being influential young leaders that exemplify the best of what Oklahoma has to offer. Through a graceful balancing act of hard work, pioneering and volunteerism, these individual set precedents for aspiring leaders around the state.
Shomo is currently working on the Oklahoma State Capitol project. In 2019, she served as a judge for the Engineering News-Record Texas & Louisiana Best Projects competition’s safety category. She graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a degree in occupational safety and health in 2008.
“The individuals were chosen for their willingness to go the extra mile. Trista is no exception. Her passion for safety is second to none and we are proud to have her on our team,” said Craig Abbott, Manhattan Construction Company vice president.
