The Golden Mesa Casino, built in partnership with the Shawnee Tribe and the Chickasaw Nation, is the first casino located in the Oklahoma panhandle. Golden Mesa is a 37,000-square-foot facility on a 107-acre site just southwest of Guymon, Oklahoma. Designed by Rees and Associates, the project design allows for future expansion. The venue includes 20,000-square-foot of gaming with 600 machines. Also included is retail, a restaurant, bar and administration spaces for the Shawnee Tribe Gaming Commission. The site has more than 600 parking spaces for cars and trucks, as well as a separate high-density paving lot for bus and RV parking.
