The new Maynard H. Jackson International Airport Terminal and Concourse at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport provides access for international passengers from the east side of the Airport via Interstate 75 and expands international capacity with sixteen additional passenger gates that can be used for domestic operations during non-peak hours. The project included upgrades to the Airport’s international passenger service and support facilities, including ticketing, baggage handling, hold rooms, concessions, duty free shops, and other traveler comforts. Construction also included a new 1,100-space parking structure, terminal access and parking facilities on the east side of the Airport. Work included the extension of the existing underground train system to the new terminal connecting all airport facilities. Manhattan Construction provided construction management services for this project as part of the Holder-Manhattan-CD Moody-Hunt joint venture.
