The Gordon River Greenway Park (GRGP) project covers approximately 124 acres located near the southeast quadrant of the Goodlette-Frank Road/Golden Gate Parkway intersection. It includes the West Node to the West off of Goodlette-Frank Road at the south side of the Naples Zoo and a Northeast Node to the northeast along Golden Gate Parkway just west of the Bear’s Paw Development.
Manhattan Road & Bridge built the two pedestrian bridges for this project. Other components included meandering walkways, nature trails, boardwalks, shade structures, restrooms, maintenance storage building, pavilions, stormwater treatment areas, a fishing platform, parking facilities, canoe/kayak launch facility lighting, landscaping, exotic plant removal, storm drainage, water and sewer, a new Naples Zoo parking lot and entrance with associated turn lanes.
