The $42.7 million renovations to CenturyLink Sports Complex and Hammond Stadium resulted in a Spring Training experience to create room for the Minnesota Twins to grow. The complex, which also is home to the Florida State League Fort Myers Miracle, expanded its seating capacity of 8,000 to 9,300 and introduced additional premium amenities that will elevate the fan experience for the community and visitors who travel to Lee County each spring. The renovations included upgraded concourses, a new retail store, a 360-degree boardwalk with a new seating berm and new group seating areas. The project also added a residential player development academy for players and staff, a new practice field, an agility field and training area. The Twins and Lee County now have a state-of-the-art spring training facility to enjoy for decades to come.
