Florida Gulf Coast University South Village Housing Pool Complex

The Florida Gulf Coast University South Village Pool Complex is a 5000-square-foot free-formed pool and pool house. The resort style pool has a zero-depth entry and features a water volleyball area, basketball hoops, large deck space, and a grilling area with gas grills. A small standalone building houses an office, pool storage and restrooms. The capacity of the pool is 87 people in the water and 575 people on the pool deck. The pool is located in the middle of the South Village Student Housing Complex, across from Eagle Hall and adjacent to Osprey hall, both of which were also built by Manhattan Construction. The pool heating uses waste hot water from the nearby central energy plant.
