The Harris County District Attorney Warehouse renovation includes the renovation of an existing 168,000-square-foot 1930s-era warehouse, which once served as a cannery on the east side of downtown Houston. The building has been repurposed to serve as the district attorney’s records storage and digital imaging facility. The project included the restoration of existing brick and concrete façade and replacing all windows, HVAC, electrical, and fire sprinkler systems. The building received a warehouse-style build-out, with office space to accommodate a staff of 60. There is also a 20,000-square-foot build-out space for the Precinct 6 Constables Office. This project is LEED® Gold Certified.
Manhattan Construction Company provided construction services, and Kirksey Architecture designed the project.
