The United Airlines Terminal B Airside Redevelopment Program (also known as the ‘Terminal B Transformation’) at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) renovates and expands both the Terminal B North and Terminal B South concourses to modernize and enhance the passenger experience. It also facilitates additional gate capacity to support the expansion and modernization of United’s fleet and the upgauging of key aircraft types.
The new North Concourse building is a 765,000-square-foot dual-loaded concourse facility that provides service to 22 Narrow-Body Equivalent (NBE) aircraft gates, with capability of up to four (4) wide-body gates at the end of the piers in a Multiple Aircraft Ramp Systems (MARS) 2:1 configuration.
